WIP Wednesday
I finished the last of the plying. This is Corriedale from Crown Mountain Farms in the Pesto colorway, which I don't believe is available anymore. I am rather fond of its green-ness. :) I think it could have been plied a tad tighter, but it doesn't bother me enough to run it through the wheel again. As usual, I have no plans for the yarn.

2 ply - 740 yards - 15 wpi - 8.5 oz.

This is what is going on the wheel next. It's a basic wool blend from Spunky Eclectic in the Light Nova Scotia colorway. My goal this week is to get at least 2 of the 4 ounces spun up.

I made some good progress on the newest socks. This was mostly accomplished on the train ride back and forth to NYC. My goal this week is to make it to the heel flap of both socks.

I also made some progress on my second sock yarn square. I'd like to get this one finsihed up and start the third one this week.

And that's all I have for this week.... Happy Knitting!
Posted by Karen at July 30, 2008 07:22 PMthat corrie Pesto is scrumptious!! You've been productive. I like the sock square a lot, too.
Posted by: Chris at July 30, 2008 08:06 PMThose are all great goals! Am I correct that you are knitting the newest socks simultaneously, but on DPNs? If so.... do you have a plan for how to keep working on them evenly. I never thought about doing that, but I'd love to have 2 socks finished at the same time and it's not like I don't have enough sock-sized DPNs to do it!
Posted by: Anne at July 30, 2008 08:07 PMOoooo...I love that pesto yarn! It would make a gorgeous shawl. You haven't done Icarus in a while, have you? (Hee hee!)
