I saw this on Donna's blog and thought it would be fun to interview my husband and develop a little blog fodder of my own.

Me: What is your favorite thing about my knitting?

Hubby: That you’re creative.

Me: What is your least favorite thing about my knitting?

Hubby: That you want me to go to things like Sheep & Wool festivals. ( I haven't asked him to go to one with me in years, but apparently that first time was traumatic for him)

Me: What is something I have knitted, that you recall as good?

Hubby: My sweater

Me: Do you think knitters have an expensive hobby?

Hubby: Yes, especially if they spin too.

Me: Do you have any hobbies?

Hubby: Computers

Me: Do you have a stash of any kind?

Hubby: No (he doesn’t count computer equipment, computer games, computer applications etc. as stash apparently - and he is not mentioning golf!)

Me: Have I ever embarrassed you, knitting in public?

Hubby: No, why would that embarrass me?

Me: Do you know my favorite kind of yarn?

Hubby: Worsted (this answer made me smile)

Me: Can you name another knitting blog?

Hubby: Knitty ( he knows Knitty is not a blog - but he was playing a game while I was asking the questions and only half paying attention)

Me: Do you mind my wanting to stop at knit shops wherever we go?

Hubby: No

Me: Do you understand the importance of a swatch?

Hubby: Of course, it’s a gauge.

Me: Do you read Needles and Wool?

Hubby: Occasionally

Me: Have you ever left a comment?

Hubby: No

Me: Do you think the house would be cleaner if I didn't knit?

Hubby: Yes ( no beating around the bush on this answer)

Me: Anything you'd like to add?

Hubby: No

From the look on his face when I started, I think he thought this was going to be a lot more painful.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I like this! Your husband seems pretty tuned in to your knitting. I wonder if my husband would dare to answer these questions.

I love this and I'm going to do it, too!

It's fun to see how much attention they're paying :)

Why would he be traumatized by people who give him nicknames like Twiddler?????

He's a good sport, and so has a stash of computer stuff!

Kudos to Mr. Needles and Wool for playing along--and for not minding stopping at yarn shops and not being embarrassed when you knit in public!

My husband, spontaneously and without prompting, bought me a Woolie Winder for my birthday last year. And it was the right one for my wheel. I didn't even know he knew what a Woolie Winder was. And he ordered it unfinished because he remembered that I finished my wheel myself and knew I would want to finish the Woolie Winder to match. As far as I'm concerned, he gets the Gold Medal for supportive spouse (even though he likens my love for yarn and fiber to a heroin addiction), but your husband can have the Silver.

This is so cute. I love his answers. He seems like he's pretty supportive! (as long as there's no yarn festivals involved!). I'm off to interview Joe.

LOL! I'm not going anywhere near my husband with those questions. He actually thinks my kntting hobby is cheaper than the photography stuff I buy. I told him to just stay in that happy place.

dunno why, but reading that made me laugh. nice that your hubby is supportive of your hobby. :)

I can so picture him answering all those. That was quite cute to read.

Love it. You know those questions will be asked at my house, probably tonight.

Oh Karen you know I can't believe he even answered the questions! That's probably pretty good considering. I liked the "of course its a gauge" answer! LOL.

your comments on your hubby's answers were cracking me up!

That is too funny! I just posted my interview with JR, too. Isn't it interesting to get their perspective?
