These were made from Sockotta, a cotton/wool blend. I did not like this yarn at all and will probably never use it again. Completed 9/21/03, pattern from Socks Two, knit on size 0 & 1 US.

These are made from Mountain Colors 4/8 Wool for me. I used size 4 needles on 40 sts. They are thick and cushy! I will be curious to see if I end up not wearing them much though because I have to hand wash them. Completed 12/25/03

My first try at 2 color knitting. It took my a while to get the hang of it but once I did I really enjoyed it. These are knit from Lornas Laces in pewter and natural on size 2 US at 9 spi. The heel is eye of partridge. Completed 2/21/04

These are my first pair of socks that I designed myself. They are made from Lang Jawoll in a chartreuse colorway and a lace pattern that I picked from one of my stitch books. They were knit on size 1 US needles at 10 spi. Still have not made the second sock.

Knit with Stahl Fortissima Colori on siz 2 US needles. I was being lazy and went up a size in needles to finish them quicker. I don't like the fabric though...it's too loose. I will go back to using 1's and 0's after these. One skein was wound the wrong way and had to be rewound. Completed 3/31/05.

This pair was made with hand painted sock yarn from Dorchester Farms. This was my first time using a picot edge instead of ribbing. They were knit on size 1 US needles with 60 sts. Completed 7/31/05.

Plain ss sock knit with 64 sts on size US 1 needles. Completed 11/20/05.

Fortissima Colori Safari with picot edge. Plain ss knit on 60 sts and completed on 12/3/05.
